1. What happened to the ISARBS discount code?

The ISARBS discount code has been renamed to the "INORMS Discount Code" to better reflect its purpose and eligibility criteria. The INORMS Discount Code is available exclusively to members of non-European INORMS member associations.


2. Who is eligible for the INORMS discount?

The INORMS discount is available to members of non-European INORMS member associations. Eligible associations include:

  • Australasian Research Management Society
  • Brazilian Association of Research Managers and Administrators
  • Canadian Association of Research Administrators
  • Chinese Association for Science of Science and Science & Technology Policy (CASSSP)
  • Malaysia Association of Research Managers and Administrators (MyRMA)
  • National Council of University Research Administrators
  • National Organization of Research Development Professionals
  • Research Manager and Administrator Network Japan
  • Southern African Research and Innovation Management Association
  • Society of Research Administrators International
  • West African Research and Innovation Management Association
  • The Association of Commonwealth Universities (excludes British citizens or residents)


3. How do I get my discount code?

  • Contact your respective association to obtain the discount code. The code is not distributed by EARMA, the conference administration, or the secretariat.
  • The discount applies to the non-member rate and reduces it to the member rate, the lowest registration rate available for the conference.

4. Can I apply the INORMS discount to any registration rate?

No, the discount only applies to the non-member rate, reducing it to the member rate. It cannot reduce the registration cost below the member rate.


5. Who is not eligible for the INORMS discount?

  • Members of European associations or European organisations.
  • Residents of Europe.
  • The discount is strictly intended for intercontinental participants who are members of non-European INORMS associations.

6. Are there any restrictions on using the discount?

Yes, the following restrictions apply:

  • The discount cannot be combined with other discounts under any circumstances.
  • It cannot result in a negative registration price.
  • It cannot be applied to complementary tickets, in-kind or financial discounts, sponsorships, or special deals.

7. What should I do if I forget to apply the discount code during registration?

If you forgot to apply the discount code during registration, you can still request the discount within 10 working days after registering. To do so, you will need to update your registration by applying the discount code provided by your association to receive the discounted rate.
Please note that if the 10-working-day period has passed, the discount code will no longer be available, and you will not be able to benefit from the INORMS discount.

8. What happens if I use the discount code without being eligible?

Unauthorized use of the discount code will result in:

  • Cancellation of your conference ticket.
  • No right to a refund.

9. How is my membership status verified?

EARMA will verify your membership status with your association to confirm you are a member in good standing. To qualify:

  • Ensure all membership dues are paid.
  • If your membership cannot be verified, the discount will be revoked, and your registration will be cancelled without a refund.
